Today we had a losing day in our hypothetical portfolio. The markets await the Fed minutes and interest rate decision expected tomorrow.
We closed our 30-Year Bond position last night, and today we got sell signals in Crude, Unleaded Gas, and the same Eurodollar and Fed Funds signals we’ve had for a while.
We closed the Crude position with a loss, but rolled our stock indices with gains in all 3 that we consider (S&P 500 eminis, emini Nasdaq 100, and emini S&P400 midcap).

As has been the case for the last several days, there were no new entry signals.

Another rebound for the hypothetical portfolio. It seems to me that the markets are holding their breath to see what happens when the Fed moves later this week.

Today we had sell signals in the Eurodollar futures, Fed Funds Futures, Unleaded Gas, and 30-year Bond Futures The 30 year bonds where the only one of these that we had a hypothetical long position in. So we’ll take our loss here and move on.

In addition, we had roll signals in the stock indices from the March contracts to the June ones. So we’ll roll Nasdaq 100, S&P 500 and S&P Midcap 400 positions to June. Remember to adjust your stops for the difference in the price you sold the March contract and the purchased the June contract. Also, cancel the previously existing March stop after you’re done to complete the roll.

As has been the case for the last several days, there were no new entry signals.
