Due to recent security concerns, the server needs to ensure updates have been made.

Ensure PHP is > 8.1 and has the latest security updates

Ensure python pip and certifi are updated past the compromised certificates

Check what you have

python3 -m pip –version # want 26.2.2+
python3 -m pip show certifi | grep -i ‘^version’ # want 2026.10.19+

Update (run in each environment, including virtual environments)

python3 -m pip install –upgrade pip certifi
